Career and Technical Education

The Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act passed in 1984 and was reauthorized in 2006. On June 28, 2016, lawmakers introduced what would be the latest reauthorization: the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act.
