It is time to start planning for CASB's 2023 Fall Conference and Delegate Assembly.

New Board Member Cafes

If you are a new board member as of 2021, join other new board members for CASB's New Board Member Cafe on the third Wednesday of each month at noon. These cafes will be topic based and plan on lively discussion. These cafes are free and open to ALL CASB members.

Board President Cafes

Join CASB member board presidents for informal discussions that are single-topic driven. This monthly gathering is to connect, communicate, and celebrate with one another. The meetings are virtual, casual, and will not be recorded. We welcome your ideas for discussion topics.

Rural Board Member Roundtable

In support of our rural board members, CASB will be co-hosting with the Colorado Rural Schools Alliance a series of roundtable discussions for rural board members. We recognize that there are unique challenges that rural board members face and we are here to support you in addressing those concerns. The discussion topics will be driven by our rural board members.

Preparing Your District Budget with Two Years in Mind   —

Budget season is gearing up. Join us for a webinar to talk about your role in the budget process, key areas you should be following that drive decision-making, and other critical pieces to the budget puzzle. One of those pieces includes federal pandemic dollars, Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), and how those one-time investments play into budget setting. This session will provide new information on how districts across Colorado have spent and are spending their ESSER funds, key takeaways to share with your administration and public, and strategies to help you communicate the impact your investments have had on your students.
