CASB Convention Registration Opens Next Week for Priority Districts

We are excited to announce that priority registration opens Monday, July 19 for the 81st Annual CASB Convention: Resilient, Ready, Relentless for Colorado Students. Districts that did not receive first priority access to the Broadmoor Hotel rooms via the lottery process in 2019 and have indicated an interest in the hotel reservation process for this year will have the first opportunity to register and access rooms prior to the regular registration process that will open the week of August 2 . We are excited to have our members and education leaders gather in person for this annual event on December 2-4 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs!

Given the high demand and limited number of rooms available at the Broadmoor Hotel during Convention, registration will be required prior to districts receiving a hotel reservation link. CASB members should work with their primary point of contact who coordinates with CASB (typically the board and/or superintendent secretaries) in order to manage their registration and hotel reservations. For additional information, visit the Convention FAQ page.

All other districts, affiliates, and partner organizations will be eligible to register for the Convention beginning the week of August 2. Once registered, access to the Broadmoor rooms will be provided as they become available. Rooms also are available at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort and the DoubleTree Hilton, click here for additional information.

The Convention call for presentations is open through July 30! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to share with your peers.

We're Resilient, Ready, and Relentless in our pursuit of supporting you so that you can do your good work for our Colorado students!

CASB Fall Delegate Assembly Conference October 22-23, 2021

The CASB Fall Conference and Delegate Assembly is scheduled to be in person for Friday, October 22, and Saturday, October 23, in Fort Collins. The Delegate Assembly provides an opportunity for every CASB member board to have their voice heard on important issues of the day. The resolutions approved by the CASB Delegates help to form the organization’s advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal levels.

Now is the time for CASB members to develop their board’s resolutions for consideration by the full Delegate Assembly. The call for resolutions is now open and the deadline for submission this year is Friday, August 30th!
