CASB's 82nd Annual Convention runs from Thursday, December 1st through Saturday, December 3rd

How do I log-in to the website?

Click on the Member Login button in the top right corner of the home page. Your username is your individual email. You will need to set up your 10 character password (passwords are tied to individuals, as opposed to organizations).

  1. Click here to update your Password by:
    1. Fill in your email address
    2. Click submit
    3. You will receive an email that allows you to enter a new password.
  2. Once your new Password is created, you can log-in here, or from any page within the website, using your Username and your new Password.

 How do I download an invoice or credit memo for an event registration?

  • Login to the CASB website then go to the My CASB tab.
  • Click on the My Profile tab.
  • In the drop down menu, click on Invoices. You can see credit memos here also.
  • Select the invoice number or credit memo and click the download button at the bottom and print it.
  • Older invoices may appear first, to reorder the list so the most current invoices are at the top click next to the Created Date.

What was the process for getting rooms at The Broadmoor Hotel?

Given the limited number of rooms available at the Broadmoor Hotel during the Convention, hotel reservation links are specific to districts based upon the following:

This year we are prioritizing Broadmoor hotel rooms in the following order:

  • First priority goes to districts that shared their interest in rooms for the 2022 Convention and did not receive Broadmoor hotel links in 2021.

  • Second priority goes to districts that shared their interest in rooms for the 2022 Convention and are prioritized using a lottery system. The Broadmoor hotel links are sent based on room availability and districts may request to be placed on the waitlist if any rooms open up. 

In addition to this registration hierarchy, please make note of the following information:

  • Convention registration is required prior to receiving the hotel link. If a school district wants to take advantage of the room block rate for the Broadmoor Hotel, districts have five (5) calendar days, including weekends, from receipt of the Convention opening announcement email to register for the Convention.

  • CASB will send the Broadmoor hotel reservation link within three (3) business days after the district registers for the Convention. 

  • Once districts receive their Broadmoor hotel link, they have five (5) calendar days, including weekends, to make reservations. After this, the link becomes disabled and applied to the next district on the waitlist.

After registering for the Convention you will receive an email with either a link to use for Broadmoor reservations or an email stating that you are on a wait list. Hotel links for the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, the DoubleTree Hilton, and the Courtyard by Marriott are posted on the hotel page of the website.

We respectfully ask that students and chaperones are housed at one of our other Convention hotels: The DoubleTree by Hilton, the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, or the Courtyard by Marriott. The Cheyenne Mountain Resort and the DoubleTree by Hilton have shuttle service available.


Broadmoor Hotel FAQs

Broadmoor Room Cancellation Deadline: Seven days prior to the arrival date

Parking Cost: $15 per day and there is no in and out availability.


How many districts are on the wait list?

The number of districts on the wait list will change as we go through this process. If links are not used within five (5) days of receipt, they will be disabled.


How can I be added to the Broadmoor Hotel wait list?

Where do I find the Convention Agenda

The agenda is linked above. We will be using our CASB Convention Mobile App and hard copy programs will not be available. The mobile app will be downloadable on the App Store for iPhones and Google Play for android phones. More information about our mobile app will be made available.


What is the cost to bring guests to the Friday Awards Luncheon or Networking Luncheon?

The cost to attend either luncheon is $65 for guests not registered for convention on Friday. They need to come to the registration desk in Broadmoor Hall to purchase a ticket. Payment by check only.


 

Is there onsite registration?

Yes. Onsite registration pricing is $900 for CASB members and $1750 for non-members.


Can we bring a guest to the Friday Welcome Reception?

Yes, but you must purchase additional tickets for your guests. Friday Reception tickets are $80. Registration for additional reception guests can be made through the registration form or if you have already registered you may pay by check in person at the CASB Info desk in Broadmoor Hall. All attendees for the Reception must be over 21.


What meals are provided with a full convention registration?

Thursday Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack Break; Friday and Saturday Breakfast; Friday Lunch, Snack Break, and Welcome Reception.


What is the cancellation policy?

A cancellation may be unavoidable. Please note that we do substitutions if one member can no longer attend. 

All cancellations must be made in writing and received no later than October 19, 2022 and will incur a $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received on or before October 19, 2022 will be refunded less the $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received will be processed by December 30, 2022. Refunds are not granted for failure to attend, late arrival, or early departure. CASB is not responsible for state or district travel restrictions, medical or weather-related cancellations, or for hotel or other costs associated with the convention if the registrant is unable to attend.

In the event cancellation is necessary due to a medical emergency, please contact CASB. You will have the option of substituting your event registration with another district member. Cancellations after the deadline and only due to medical emergencies are on a case by case basis. If approved, cancellation fees may vary based upon the date of the request and may not be offered closer to the actual event date.

How do I register board members when I don’t know if they will be elected in November?

As this is an election year, districts can register for open seat board members by:

  • For current sitting board members who are running
    • Register Linked Profile for the existing board member record (see image below)
    • If this board member changes after the November election contact Connie Summers, [email protected] with the name of the new board member
    • You must also contact the Broadmoor if you have made reservations there.

 

  • For unknown board members
    • Use the Register Guest option for each board member using the following protocol:
      • First name: [District name]
      • Last name: [Board member 1, Board member 2, etc.]
