About the opportunity

The Receptionist will serve as the initial, friendly voice of CASB to all callers, including school district board of education members, superintendents and executive assistants.

Qualifications

  1. Friendly and cooperative personality.
  2. Prior experience as a receptionist and/or administrative assistant preferred.
  3. School district work experience, preferred.
  4. Familiarity with education environment and issues helpful.

Skills

  1. Courteous and precise customer service skills.
  2. Basic office management skills, including filing and copying.
  3. Word processing, editing and proofreading skills.
  4. Highly organized.
  5. Punctuality.

Performance responsibilities

  1. Answer the CASB office’s main phone lines and route calls to appropriate staff member for response.
  2. Schedule use of building’s conference rooms.
  3. Maintain coffee station and order beverages for office use.
  4. Sort and deliver mail to staff members.
  5. Greet all visitors and assist them as needed.
  6. Serve as back up to other members of the CASB support staff, as requested.
  7. Assist with convention and conferences, as may be needed.
  8. Perform other duties as may be requested by the business operations manager.

Wages: CASB offers a competitive wage, commensurate with experience.

Hours: Two shifts available: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Start date: June 3, 2019
