CASB's 2022 Winter Legislative Conference is Next Week!

We are less than a week away from the 2022 CASB Winter Legislative Conference! There is still time to register for the conference but you need to act quickly. Tuesday, February 22, is the deadline for the online registration. Onsite registration will be available but will increase to $575 for members and $750 for non-members.

The Conference will be highlighted by our keynote speakers Gerardo Muñoz and Autumn Rivera, Colorado Teachers of the Year for 2021 and 2022, and includes a trip to the Capitol where attendees will observe the House and Senate proceedings while also getting a tour of the Capitol.

Rural Board Members Roundtable –

In support of our rural board members, CASB and the Colorado Rural Schools Alliance will be hosting a series of roundtable discussions for rural board members. We recognize that there are unique challenges that rural board members face and we are here to support you in addressing those concerns. The discussion topics will be driven by our rural board members, so please join us on February 22 at either 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.! You can submit discussion topic ideas when you register. The roundtables are not recorded.

Join CASB member board presidents for informal discussions that are topic-driven. This monthly gathering is to connect, communicate, and celebrate with one another. The Cafe meetings are virtual and casual and will not be recorded. We welcome your ideas for discussion topics.

How do you handle superintendent evaluations?
Do you have a mid-year evaluation?
What have you found successful?
What do you have in place for a succession plan?

School board presidents are invited and encouraged to participate.
